School-leaving qualification required:

  • extended secondary school qualifications (Erweiteter Realschulabschluss)

Additional prerequisites:

  • Good performance in natural science subjects
  • Interest in metalwork and manual and machine work
  • Understanding of the design and functioning of engineering equipment

Motivation, initiative, flexibility, perseverance, manual dexterity, reliability, precision and teamworking ability are required.

  • Skilled craftsmanship
